DVD Rental Fees:
- $3.00 for the first seven nights.
- Two dollars for each additional night.
- These apply to all DVDs that are not new releases.

Video Game Rental Fees:
- Five dollars for the first seven nights.
- Two dollars for each additional night.
- These apply to all games that are not new releases:
- Gamecube, PS2, X-Box, Wii, PS3 and X360.
- * New releases are $5.00, but for only two nights.
Return Policies and Other Information:
- Rentals are due back by 10pm on the due date.
- If not returned on time, rentals are automatically re-rented for $2 per rental for each additional night.
- Cash, Diamond Dollars, and all major credit cards accepted.
- New releases come out every Tuesday and will be available at midnight every Monday.
- Any rental kept after four weeks is subject to a charge of $45 for late fees plus the cost of replacing the rental.
- Outstanding balances are automatically billed for all dormant accounts (six weeks of no activity) and for any account with a large balance (greater than or equal to $20).

- If your class requires a film or movie, let us know ahead of time and we will order multiple copies.
- Rainy Days:
When it's raining or snowing, rent two movies and get the third for only one dollar.
- Same Day Returns:
Return a rental the same day and receive one dollar toward future rentals.

Account Milestones:
To thank our best customers, rental prices are reduced as you rent more. Our two milestones occur after 100 and 200 rentals.
- Rent 100 or more: All DVDs are only $2.50 each. All games are only $4.00 each.
- Rent 200 or more: All DVDs are only $2.00 each. All games are only $3.00 each.

What is a cost reversal and why have one?
Most stores provide a base cost with long rental periods. Some go as far as saying they have no late fees. We believe that this is extremely unfair to those that always return on time and still have to pay the same as everyone else.
We prefer to do things a little differently by providing inexpensive rentals and expensive fees for returning late. This is what we mean by a "cost reversal". Rentals are only $3.00 for seven days, which is the cheapest price you can find anywhere for a video store. But, when a movie is returned late, it's an additional $2 for every day, much more expensive than the initial rental price. This has many effects on the way the store operates:
- Increasing the availability of movies due to quick turnover.
- Rewarding those who return on time.
- Placing a majority of the burden on late returners.
- Encouraging customer responsibility.
Even higher fees are assessed when a movie is never returned to us. Movies that are not returned are a big burden on the store, but more importantly, they are a burden on customers. When a movie doesn't come back, it becomes unavailable to customers for months while we're in the process of re-ordering and re-stocking. Re-order fees are based on the cost of the movie plus any shipping and stocking fees necessary to add that movie back to our stock. We feel that this is also a big enough incentive to prevent theft.
Tristan Video believes that this provides a far better experience for everyone involved. We highly encourage all customers to return movies on time so that they can take full advantage of our costs.
